MacMat® HS to nowa generacja wysokiej klasy geomat będących połączeniem trójwymiarowego kompozytu wykonanego z włókien polipropylenowych z siatką stalową Steelgrid®. Geomaty MacMat® HS używa się tam, gdzie potrzebna jest stabilizacja powierzchni skarpy, ponieważ łączą w sobie ochronę przeciwerozyjną i stabilizację powierzchniową.
Właściwości mechaniczne stalowej siatki o sześciokątnym oczku, która pełni funkcję zbrojenia, przewyższają te zalecane w normie EN 10223-3. Drut powleczony jest grubą warstwą stopu cynkowo-aluminiowego Zn-Al5% zgodnie z normą 10244-2 (klasa A). Drut stalowy i liny zbrojące są też dostępne w opcji z dodatkową powłoką polimerową. Produkt ten osiąga takie same wyniki (wytrzymałość na rozciąganie i odporność na przebicie) jak siatka Maccaferri Steelgrid®.
