Sistemas de alambre de acero contra desprendimientos de rocas
La malla Maccaferri DT es un componente clave de nuestra área de aplicación de protección contra riesgos naturales y mitigación de caída de rocas MacRO. Es uno de los diversos sistemas de malla que se seleccionan según nuestro análisis de las condiciones del lugar del proyecto y los requisitos del cliente.
Utilizada desde hace más de 50 años, nuestra malla DT está fabricada con nuestro alambre de acero tejido de doble torsión hexagonal y se utiliza como sistema de revestimiento para evitar la caída de rocas y escombros en carreteras y vías férreas. Debido a las características de la doble torsión, la malla de alambre de acero puede soportar la fuerza de perforación de la caída de rocas y no se desmorona en caso de rotura del alambre.
La malla DT está fabricada con alambre de acero de alta calidad, fuertemente galvanizado para proporcionar una protección anticorrosiva a largo plazo. También se aplica un recubrimiento de polímero protector adicional a las mallas que se utilizan en entornos más agresivos o cuando se requiere una vida útil más larga. Nuestras mallas DT se fabrican en nuestras fábricas de todo el mundo. En las fábricas seleccionadas, la malla se produce de acuerdo con el Reglamento de Productos de la Construcción - CPR 305/2011 y cuenta con el marcado CE de acuerdo con ETA-16/0758. Los sistemas de gestión y producción están certificados conforme a las normas ISO 9001 e ISO 14001 (para el sistema de gestión medioambiental). A thriving beaver population is threatening the stability of the Netherlands' sea defences. The Mammal Society has brought together other wildlife groups to work out how to protect these important water-blocking dykes from the small but potentially destructive semi-aquatic rodents. Beavers play an important ecological role in the Netherlands and were initially brought in to increase biodiversity. The beaver-breeding program began in 1988, and since then the beaver population has grown exponentially. There are now an estimated 700 beavers residing in the country's streams and canals. Triumphant mating habits combined with the beavers' ability to breed so successfully in the Dutch countryside mean they have been moving beyond the southern province of Limburg and entering towns and cities that may not be prepared for the influx. With the Dutch beaver population expected to hit around 7,000 by 2032, the need to take pre-emptive action is now a very important theme.

Museum of the Future - GREEN COVERAGE AND DRAINAGE SYSTEM

The Museum of the Future (MOTF) is a unique initiative by the Dubai government that explores the future of science, technology, and innovation and will be located at a prime spot in Sheikh Zayed Road and near the Burj Khalifa. The architect Kila designed MOTF in three main parts: the lower green hill, the upper building, and the elliptical void, representing earth, mankind & innovation, respectively. The inspiration for the green hill was also to elevate the building calmly and unobtrusively above the metro line and create greenery in elevation where visitors can enjoy while engaging with the Museum. The green hill is to be done through a smooth transition from the site as an earthen, vegetated mound with a minimal visible built intervention. A three-story podium structure will be embedded inside the green hill, which will house the lobby, auditorium, cafés, restaurants, retail, car parking, etc. For the aforementioned reasons, the vegetated mount must be done as a THIN CLADDING of varying slopes rather than a solid earth hill.
